Connect

Connect Housing is a specialist housing and support provider committed to preventing homelessness and helping people build safe, stable, and independent lives. We work with individuals and families facing housing insecurity, domestic abuse, and other complex challenges, offering tailored support that meets people where they are.

Connect - Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA)

Connect IDVA service provides specialist, trauma informed support to people at high risk of serious harm from domestic abuse. The service focuses on safety, empowerment, and helping individuals navigate complex systems during some of the most challenging moments in their lives.

IDVAs work alongside people to understand their situation, explore their options, and create personalised safety plans. They offer practical and emotional support, always led by the person’s own choices and priorities. Their role includes advocating on behalf of survivors with police, courts, housing, health services, and other agencies to ensure that their voice is heard, and their safety needs are recognised.

Our service

Through strong partnerships with local authorities, community organisations, and specialist services, Connect Housing delivers high-quality accommodation alongside person-centred support. We believe that safe housing is the foundation for positive change. By combining practical support, trauma-informed practice, and collaborative working, Connect Housing helps people reconnect with opportunity, rebuild confidence, and move forward with dignity.

At Connect Housing, we take a person-centred, trauma-informed approach that recognises housing as the foundation for stability and growth. We work alongside individuals and families to understand their strengths, needs, and aspirations, developing tailored support plans that promote safety, independence, and long-term wellbeing.

Our teams collaborate closely with local authorities, health services, domestic abuse specialists, and community partners to ensure coordinated, wraparound support. By combining high-quality accommodation with practical guidance and emotional support, we help people overcome barriers, reduce risk, and move towards sustainable housing solutions.

We focus not just on crisis response, but on prevention and progression — empowering people to rebuild confidence, reconnect with their communities, and create lasting change in their lives.
